Super Bowl Gambling: With Your Family

Forced interaction with your family is a fate worse than death. Especially when they don’t know anything about gambling and start asking you questions like “Are the Chiefs plus or negative points?” and everything inside you wants to scream “IT’S GIVING OR GETTING POINTS, NOT PLUS OR NEGATIVE”. One of my favorites is “How does the points work?” Excuse me, “what do you mean? Are you referring to the spread? Should I stick my head in the buffalo chicken dip and see if I can suffocate myself by the time you come up with this answer?”

So, in order to avoid this type of aggravation, Scors will give you his Super Bowl Sunday family fun game that has been used at my Super Bowl parties for years. You can bring it to a Super Bowl party and introduce it to the guests or if you are hosting your own party, it is a great way to get everyone involved in the game, especially if people are not overly interested in football.

The rules of the game are simple, $10 entry, person with the most amount of correct answers wins the pot. So lets get to the props and some other fun stuff that I will be including on my list this year:

1. Winner of the game
2. Pick the winner with the spread (KC-1)
3. Coin Toss: Heads or Tails
4. O/U National Anthem (2:04)
5. Game Over/Under (54.5)
6. First team to score
7. First score of the game (FG, Safety, Def. TD, Rush TD, Throw TD, SpTm TD)
8. First player to score
9. O/U times Mike Shanahan is shown (1.5)
10. First coach to be shown after kickoff (Reid or Shanahan)
11. JLO/Shakira first song to be played
12. Gatorade color dumped on winning coach
13. Will A-Rod be shown during the halftime performance
14. Which company will have the first commercial after the kick-off
15. Who will be MVP of the game

So there you have it, get everyone involved and enjoy the big game.
