State of the ProcrastiNation: Vol. I

Hey everybody, hope all is well. The blog is officially one week old and I have exciting news to share. After our first week of blogging we have compiled over 1,000 views and have had 250 individual people visit the site. This is unreal to us, we weren’t expecting to have this great of a response in such a short period of time. I won’t be writing a blog like this too often but I do want to keep you updated and informed of who we are and what we are doing.

I’m Scors and I started the blog with the help of our Editor In Chief, Mulraney. He kindly referred to me as the “Blogfather” well if I am in fact the Blogfather of this site, Mulraney is Tom Hagen, the Consigliere. After a couple of days of writing, I realized we needed to bring on someone who could give us a wide range of skill, someone who could write about the NHL, business and be a solid presence on the site, to continue the trend, our Kay Corleone. We brought on Jcoughlin. Boom Roasted.

We all work 9-5 jobs and each of our jobs can get extremely busy but we treat this like our after hours work, our second job and we do it to make your miserable day in the office, in the cube, in the classroom just a little bit more manageable and hopefully you get a few laughs out of it. We aren’t trying to copy anyone or replicate any type of schtick, we just want to give you another place to get some sports opinions, a different spin on pop culture stories and an everyday approach to the complex world of business.
We have some exciting things on the horizon. There are a few various podcasts in the works that will cover sports and pop culture. I am working on securing confirmations from various people to host these shows and give you something to vibe with on your commute to and from work every morning.

The one thing I ask of everyone who reads this, is to spread the word about what we are trying to do and get more of your friends and family to read this. I am also considering bringing new writers onto the blog, if you are interested, send us a writing sample to our DM’s on any of our social media platforms.

Again, thanks for the support, we will continue to do our part to make your day a little bit more enjoyable. Here is to all you procrastinators who are making ProcrastiNation the blog to visit!
